I can provide a complete garden design for your garden, planting plans or just a makeover of a particular area. I also offer a consultation service if you just want general advice or ideas. I offer a completely individual service, tailored to your own requirements so I can be as general or as specific as you require.
Garden Designs and Planting Plans
Because each garden/design is different, I price individually and can provide a quotation for your specific requirements. Smaller pieces of work will be quoted as a total price whereas larger projects will be broken down into stages. Details of the design steps are given in Process.
The cost of the design varies with the size and complexity of the project, for example, a basic garden design will cost from £300 for a small courtyard garden.
I do not offer a remote or postal service, but will always visit a garden to ensure that I take into account the proportions of the house, the views from the windows, aspect, prevailing winds and soil type in order to provide the best service possible.
Consultations
Sometimes a client does not require a full garden design service but wishes to discuss a specific problem area of their garden with an experienced designer who can offer a workable solution. I offer a two hour consultation for clients within a 30 minute drive of my studio for £75. This service is offered to clients further afield with an extra travel charge.
If the client decides to go ahead with a full garden design as a result of the consultation, this fee, (excluding extra travel costs), will be deducted from the final payment for the design.
