Initial consultation

I will visit you on site to discuss your garden design requirements. You will then receive a quotation summarising these details with the cost.

Site survey and analysis

On my second visit I will measure your garden and detail the aspect, soil type and any change of level, in order to produce an accurate plan from which to base a design.

Concept designs

If required I can produce several different coloured small scaled designs based on your requirements, so that you can choose exactly what you want - perhaps something from each design. I will visit you to go through these options and to discuss different hard landscaping materials.

Final hard landscape design plan

This large scaled plan gives the detail of your chosen design and may be supported by smaller detailed drawings of any steps, pergolas, paving patterns as necessary. These are the plans from which your contractor will work.

Planting plan

A planting plan will be drawn up separately, taking into account the soil moisture content and acidity, aspect, any specific favourites and also the style of planting required, low maintenance, cottage garden, contemporary or any combination of these. The plan will be supported by a list of the Latin names of the plants, together with specific varieties suited to your garden, pot sizes and quantities. I can also:

spacer• provide a quotation for supply of plants from a wholesale nursery in Hampshire
spacerposition the plants in accordance with the planting plan and plant out into pre-
spacer prepared  borders.

Contractor's specification

The hard landscape plans can be supported by a detailed specification for the contractor, giving information on the hard landscaping products required and setting the standard to which they should work.

Aftercare and Advice

Following the implementation of your design, I am happy to provide help and advice as the planting develops over time.
